Rules -
* This community is for discussing media featuring Trans content or by Trans creators. This includes Binary and Non-Binary content and creators.
* Other content that has trans vibes, trans themes or that a lot of people have trans headcanons is also allowed. Clearly tag whether a work has specific, overt Trans Content or if it has a very Trans Vibe. Media containing themes that feel trans related are allowed here, just make sure to be clear which it is.
Example:
-Pose has actual Trans characters. It gets tagged as 'Trans Content'
- A lot of people consider The Tamir Triad by Lynn Flewelling to be Trans lit due to it's themes on gender, but has no actual Trans characters in it. It gets tagged 'Related Themes'
- The Matrix was created by Trans Women. It gets tagged 'Trans Creator', though the 'Related Themes' tag may also be applied.
* Documentaries and works by small creators are allowed.
* Talking personal headcanons is fine, but do not post reviews or discourse of other people's fanworks.
* The comm will be very lenient about what works count as having Related Themes. However, we will draw the line at canons with living creators who are actively supporting Anti-LGBTIA+ causes. So, nothing by JK Rowling or Orson Scott Card.
* LJ-cut and provide a content warning if you are going to be posting anything explicit, not suitable for people under the age of 18, or that deals with abuse, trauma or other triggers.
If you don't know how to LJ-cut, here is some code to Copy/Paste. Just replace [Reason for Cut] with the reason for the cut, making sure to not delete the parenthesis.
