transmediaclubThe first season of Trek with trans characters is complete. Have people been watching? How do people feel about the show's handling of the characters?
Gray Tal being trans is still Word Of God, but at least he is confirmed to still exist. Him being dead before the season started was an interesting choice. I was pretty sure that he'd turn out to still be around in some form, but it was nice to have it confirmed by the season finale.
I like both Gray and Adira. It was a bit odd that when Grey become corporeal again for a time that they didn't hug, but hugged Stamets instead.
Overall I liked them and their storylines, just curious where things are going. It's going to be a while before we see them again. So for now, we can only speculate.
